He went to the future, bought a pair of glasses which he thought was cool and came back looking like an idiot. hehe
My boyfriend wanted to get contact lenses with astigmatism (in contact lense lingo, it's called "Toric") so the Optician was trying to test his eyesight.
I thought he looked funny so decided to photograph the moment.

Tulamben - Bali, Indonesia
I went to Bali (4th - 8th July) for 4 days and 4 nights. Due to air travel, I could only dive 2 days to avoid suffering from Decompression Sickness. I did a total of 6 dives. It was a really satisfying trip. There was so much to see, compared to Dayang, Johor Malaysia. Here are pictures, to show you non-divers and non-active divers what you're missing *grin*:
Of course, we couldn't photograph some sea creatures because they were either too far or swam away before my friend Laurence could click the camera shutter button. I was lucky enough to sight the following:

- Black-tip Shark
- Blue spotted Stingray
- Turtle
- Sea Urchins
- Giant Puffer Fish (It was almost half my size)
- A whole school of Bump Head Parrotfish
- Giant Oysters

Public commuters are a Nuisance!
Have you experienced inconsiderate/ irritating people who talk on their mobile phones in public places like the cinema, the concert hall or just people who just talk too loudly? Well I have seen my fair share of weird, disgusting and plain annoying idiots. Here they are:
- Ah Em (50+ aunty) toying with her dentures in public bus, producing irritating *clek clek clek* noises. Stops every time I turn to look at her but start again as soon as I turn away. I can't get my usual morning pre-work sleep!
- Ah Pek (50+ uncle) plucking his moustache with tweezer and sticking the extracted hair onto the metal poles in public bus. He's been mentioned in my previous post (Click here to view).
- Young couple (below 20) necking and kissing in MRT, causing awkwardness toward all other passengers. They took up quite a bit of space too as the guy was swaying about, responding to the girl's tender licks and spits.
- Let me think and I'll update this...

Do insects that get sucked into vacuum cleaners stay inside or die?
Ants, Dust mites, Cockroaches, Fleas, Mosquitoes, Flies - don't you just hate them? Even if you have a sparkling clean room, they may just appear out of nowhere!
I bought a vacuum cleaner recently. I sucked some these damned parasites with my vacuum cleaner and I wondered if they would crawl out of the vacuum? Or if they would actually get horny in the dark and start multiplying?
The reason I ask is, there is a big hole where the vacuum cleaner is connected to the hose. The insects could crawl out from the hole. Especially cockroaches, I hate them!
I searched online and asked around but no one seemed to be able to give me an affirmative answer. So I decided to email Philips from whom I bought the vacuum cleaner and get an answer straight from the manufacturer.
A Philips representative called me and confirmed my worst fears - insects (especially cockroaches) that get sucked into vacuum cleaners do not die from the heat nor the power of the suction. His advise is to discard the dust bag and replace it with a new one.
So I hope I clarified the same question which might be on some of your minds.
